2 Months Later, Protests for Black Lives Continue in Renton

On July 31st from 12pm-1pm at the corner of 4th & Duvall, an array of residents continue weekly protests for Black Lives Matter. Two months after the murder of George Floyd, Renton still demands justice and reforms across the board, locally and nationally.

The event was organized by a teacher who says this has been a weekly activity. Along with other activist groups, like Renton Residents For Change, Renton has had consistent demonstrations for Black Lives Matter.
